Get Them On Your Team! [Week 4]

Josh Jacobs

Besides his Week 6 Bye Week, Jacobs has seven matchups against defenses outside of the Top 20 in the next nine games.  He is a rookie with no tread on the tires and Oakland Raiders Head Coach Jon Gruden wants to use him heavily.  He had a down week in Week 3, so you must try to get him even if it costs you a bit here because it is buying lower than he will be available moving forward.  He will be a top 10 RB rest of season.  I’m a big believer in teams’ transactions can’t lie.  The Raiders drafted Jacobs in the first round of the draft and didn’t pick up any real competition.

Larry Fitzgerald

The Arizona Cardinals veteran wide receiver is so steady.  If you have a FLEX spot as I do in my leagues, he is a must have.  Every year he performs, and the Cardinals offense seems to be adjusting more and more as rookie Kyler Murray grows with rookie Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury.  Fitzgerald is getting targets in every game at a high rate and consistently performs in fantasy weekly with an extremely high floor.  He rarely finishes with less than ten points in any given week in PPR.

Delanie Walker

Delanie Walker had six targets each game of the first two weeks, but only jumped that number up a bit in Week 3 with nine targets.  Walker is a safety net for Marcus Mariota.  I think the Tennessee Titans offense is struggling and I see them relying on a steady veteran like Delanie Walker when plays break down a bit.  Walker is always one of the better TE’s in fantasy, but we seem to have forgotten because he was out last season.  He has four red zone targets this season too which makes him a likely candidate to get a touchdown.
