- Tyler Higbee
The Los Angeles Rams Tight End looks like he will be able to go this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Yes, the same Buccaneers that gave up George Kittle’s season high of 13 fantasy points in Week 1. Yes, the same Buccaneers that gave up 19 fantasy points to Greg Olsen in Week 2. Yes, the same Buccaneers that gave up allowed Evan Engram to put up 25 fantasy points in Week 3. The Rams have such a powerful offense that Higbee can put up 10+ points in any given week. I would go with him in Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers D.
- Vernon Davis
Davis has seen fifteen targets so far in three games for the Washington Redskins. He has not yet made the most of those targets but is going up against an underwhelming New York Giants defense. Vernon Davis has a red-zone reception in two of the first three games and a touchdown so far. He is getting targets, specifically in the red zone, in an offense with not a ton of offensive options better than Davis. I would bank of him having a big game this week so grab him off waivers if he’s out there.
- Kyle Rudolph
In PPR, Kyle Rudolph has finished in the top ten for the tight end position in 2018, 2017 and 2016. In the first three games of this season he has not been targeted as frequently as past seasons, but the Vikings should be relying on their passing game more as they try to preserve an injury prone Dalvin Cook. I just can’t envision the Minnesota Vikings running as much as they currently do in every game this season and risking it with Cook’s history. Once the passing game opens and Rudolph sees more targets, he should be the red zone target he has proven to be before.
